The company has been growing 50-100% p.a., is led by a strong management team, and backed by strong financial investors, who are looking to accelerate the companys growth to the next level.
This position is for an experienced Desktop support technician for a rapidly growing web software company. Candidate will be responsible for internal IT support. Position will be based at BigMachines offices in Deerfield, IL.

| Duties: | Go to person for all internal end user support needs & remote assistance
Network printer setup and management
New user account management, setup and preparation
Development and maintenance of desktops/laptops
Ensure equipment is fully operational to maximize end user productivity
Support of IT, and AV, equipment during meetings.
Coordinate move and set-up of computer, phone, or AV equipment at workstations.
Prepare miscellaneous hardware and software supply requests (e.g., toner, blackberry accessories, computer monitors, software).
Research tools / services to further streamline standard operating procedures
Development of documentation for current and future end user support related processes
Inventory and asset management
Purchasing management of end user equipment

| Qualifications: | Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP/7 and Office programs.
Experience managing information technology operations
Experience in trouble-shooting hardware and software issues
Ability to efficiently and courteously multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
Exp with Norton Ghost or Windows Deployment Services
Good to Have:
RedHat Linux experience
Batch / VBscript
Windows 2003 server
